Within this very room filled with people of varying cultures and beliefs,
It can sometimes be hard to relate to others. However I hope you will figure out the enemy we have in common. One that I, to this day, continue to struggle with

How old are you?How tall are you?How much do you weigh? How small is your waist? How large are your biceps? The distance between your thighs? The width of your chest? What is your body mass index? On a scale of 1-10, how hot are they? What did you get on that test? What is your IQ?The amount of likes on your last Instagram post? How many views, comments, retweets, shares, followers? Can't you see?
Numbers have completely taken over. They now dictate our lives, our every action.Tell me.Since when did we begin to measure our worth through numbers? How can you even begin to restrict your passions, dreams, happiness, dedication, strength, YOUR VALUE? Because of something like a number? We are all wonderful works in progress. We learn about different aspects of our personality, of our being, CONSTANTLY.And there is nothing wrong with that.
In fact, to push oneself to become better than you were yesterday- THAT is the greatest accomplishment one could ask for.Take ultimate pride in yourself, in your growth!Harness that initiative, that strive, and move forward. And believe me, although I say all this, I know how hard it is.Because, in this world of Kim Ks, Instagram, twitter, and so much more, it becomes easy to get caught up and start nitpicking on things appearances, materialistic things, and popularity.
And sometimes, you may feel this urge to change. To meet some mold, to reach that “ultimate” number. Because if you do, you’ll be happy. It's sad that sometimes we forget the true meaning and value behind a person. We have forgotten the POWER of a person’s words, actions. A person’s smile.Instead we have given this infinite amount of power to numbers and stripped away the power from things that truly matter. And yet the reality is that, all a number is, well, a number. That's it.You are beautiful, strong, inspiring, passionate, hardworking, dedicated. And so much more.Honestly, I need a dictionary to find more words. But even then, I doubt it could possibly come close to describing your full potential, your radiance. The numbers on the scale, the grade you may have received. That does NOT define you.
Your strength, power, and perseverance in facing all the obstacles in your life.Your capability of feeling in this world filled with chaos.Your willingness to move forward, your passion.THAT is what defines YOU!Never forget that.Put your best out there for the best will surely come right back.
