
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of water
- 3/4 cup of almond milk
- 1 1/2 tbsp of cacao powder
- 5 dates (2-3 medjool dates) chopped
- Pinch of salt (1/8 tsp)
- 1 cup of oats
- 1 tbsp of flax seed
Directions:
- Add the water, almond milk, cacao powder, dates and salt to a pot and bring the mixture to a boil (If you leave it at this, you got yourself some hot chocolate- for a smoother taste, blend it so all the date pieces are blended).
- Once the mixture is boiling, add the oats and flax seeds to the mix.
- Continuously stir the mixture till the oats have thickened up to your desired consistency. You may add more almond milk if you like it less thick and more creamy.
- Now you can add your favorite toppings from peanut butter to berries to banana slices.
